在台灣，印尼移工在所有移民勞工群體中佔大多數。然而，相較於其他東南亞國家，大多數台灣本地人對印尼文化及其日常飲食了解甚少。
這次演講將介紹傳統與現代印尼社會中Jamu（草藥飲料）的發展，以及DayDayJamu咖啡館（台灣首家印尼草藥店）在台灣經營第一年的情況，並分享台灣與印尼社群之間透過日常飲食和飲料進行跨文化理解的經驗。
In Taiwan, Indonesian are the majority in all immigrant workers community. However, most Taiwanese local people know little about Indonesian culture and their daily cuisine in comparison with other South-Eastern countries. The lecture will include the introduction to the development of Jamu in ancient and modern Indonesian society, and how DayDayJamu Cafe (the first Toko Jamu in Taiwan) ran during its first year in Taiwan, sharing the experience on cross-culture comprehension during Taiwanese and Indonesian communities through daily food and beverage.
